Self paced E-learning course
Audience: Corporate employees and individual contributors.
Delivery: Self-paced e-Learning module.
Purpose: Improve productivity and task prioritization in fast-paced work environments.
Business Problem
Employees struggled to manage competing priorities, leading to missed deadlines, task overload, and reduced productivity.
Instructional Solution
I designed a self-paced time management course focused on practical, immediately applicable strategies. The course emphasizes behavior change through reflection, application activities, and realistic workplace scenarios rather than passive content consumption.
Tools Used
Articulate Rise 360, Canva, Google Docs, Miro
By the end of this course, learners will be able to:
Identify personal time-management challenges.
Apply prioritization frameworks to daily tasks.
Create a realistic weekly schedule aligned with work goals.
Implement strategies to reduce common workplace distractions.
Adult learning principles: Focused on relevance, autonomy, and immediate application.
Microlearning structure: Content broken into short, focused lessons.
Reflection activities: Learners assess their own habits and plan improvements.
Performance support mindset: Designed as a practical toolkit, not theoretical training.
The design process began with researching time-management frameworks, productivity research, and common workplace challenges related to prioritization and focus. I analyzed the target learners’ work environment, time constraints, and performance gaps to ensure the course addressed real-world needs.
Based on this research, I defined measurable learning objectives focused on behavior change rather than time-tracking theory. I then storyboarded the course in Miro, mapping the content flow, interactions, and knowledge checks to minimize cognitive overload.
The storyboard outlined microlearning segments, reflection activities, and practical application scenarios. Using Articulate Rise 360, I developed the course with a clean, learner-centered layout and interactive elements. Finally, I reviewed the course for clarity, pacing, and alignment between objectives, content, and assessments.
This course demonstrates my ability to design performance-focused learning that supports productivity and behavior change.
With real-world deployment, success metrics would include improved task completion rates, learner self-efficacy, and reduced time-related stress.
